Development and implementation of an innovative system addressing robotic delocalisation in challenging autonomous robot environments and improving the scaling of different robotic solutions within a shared environment.
Project description
United Robots Sp. z o.o. has received a grant from the European Union for the project “Development and implementation of an innovative system addressing robotic delocalisation in challenging autonomous robot environments and improving the scaling of different robotic solutions within a shared environment.”
We are carrying out this project to strengthen the company’s capabilities and introduce innovative solutions.
Project objectives and scope:
The project aims to develop a mapping robot prototype; develop a multimodal navigation and localisation system for varied environments that addresses delocalisation; develop a system that enhances navigation using landmarks; develop a system for generating 3D and 2D maps for robots with a limited set of sensors from a complete map obtained using the mapping platform; and integrate the developed mapping, localisation and navigation system into the next generation of United Robots products. Under the Innovation Implementation module, the project also covers the construction of a new production facility, equipping that facility with production line components and the necessary warehouse infrastructure, and equipping its office and staff facilities.
